Our Chicago upholstery shop can assist with pattern direction, repeats, railroading, welt, tufting, and estimated yardage. Can you provide finish and upholstery samples?

Yes. Designers may request available upholstery samples and information about our metal and wood finishes before finalizing a specification. Contact us with the product model and finishes you are considering.

Can Richardson Seating customize products for a project?

Yes. Depending on the model, available customization may include COM or COL upholstery, colors, contrasting upholstery, piping, button or channel tufting, decorative nailheads, logos, seat heights, and metal or wood finishes. Our team will confirm what is possible for the selected product.

Commercial Seating & Ordering

What is your standard lead time for custom commercial seating?

Our standard manufacturing lead time is typically about four weeks after the order and specifications are finalized. For COM and COL projects, production timing begins after the approved material arrives at our Chicago factory. Lead times can vary by product, quantity, materials, and current production schedules.

Where is Richardson Seating furniture manufactured?

Richardson Seating manufactures and assembles its commercial seating in Chicago, Illinois. Our metalworking, woodworking, sewing, upholstery, and assembly capabilities are located under one roof.

Are your chairs and bar stools suitable for restaurants and hospitality spaces?

Yes. Our commercial-grade seating is designed for demanding restaurant, bar, diner, cafe, hotel, casino, entertainment, and hospitality environments. Product construction and specifications vary by model, so contact us if your project has special performance or code requirements.

How do I request a quote?

Send us the product model numbers, quantities, upholstery or finish selections, delivery location, requested completion date, and any project-specific requirements. For COM or COL projects, include the textile manufacturer, pattern, color, width, repeat, and direction when available.

Do you ship outside Chicago?

Yes. Richardson Seating ships commercial furniture throughout the United States and can arrange international shipping. Freight requirements and pricing depend on the order size and destination.

Can I reorder matching seating later?

In many cases, yes. Keep your original order information, model numbers, finishes, and upholstery specifications. Material and component availability can change, but our team will use the original details to help produce the closest possible match.
