Bolt Down Bar Stools

We can manufacture bolt down bar stools and bolt down chairs to your exact specification. We have our own metal shop and we build each piece of our bar stool in house. We even make the special installation wrenches that work only on our bar stools. The secret to our counter stools lasting longer than other soda fountain bar stools is that we start with better components. We use a 16 gauge steel tube for the base structure of the stool. Inside the tube we use thick threaded rods to attach a cast iron bushing to a cast iron bell plate at the bottom. Using cast iron instead of steel is what allows our bar stools to last for 15-20 years while others fall apart in months. The other trick to longevity is the upholstery that you select. Most designers will show restaurants very expensive materials that cost $150 per yard. These expensive materials are not made well and really hard to upholster. We would rather use some good old Uniroyal Naugahyde brand vinyl. Most of our heavy duty vinyl will survice 2 million double rubs. The fancy vinyl is probably rated at 20,000. We are still using the same supplier for these parts for over 40 years. We get our castings from Manitowoc Grey Iron. I am not sure if they are still using the original dies, but we haven't paid a die charge in decades. We are proud that we are able to work with great companies like Manitowoc throughout 3 generations of my family. When the iron part comes in, we need to route a perfect hole to make it into a bushing. We also need to tap the bushing to be able to accept a metal pin;. The bottom bell piece comes pretty ready to go. The metal tubes we use come in 42" lengths. We can cut them down to any size. We also use a very similar process for our bolt down table bases. The only difference is that table bases don't rotate. We weld on a plate that you can use to attach the table
